When you request Internet Explorer 5 or 6 to go to a new Web Page an 'Animated' Logo/Throbber is shown in the top right corner of your Browser to show that 'something is actually happening' and that the program hasn't just gone to sleep ! When the Web page has loaded the Logo stops being Animated and just displays a Static Image. This Logo can very easily be changed without risk by anyone in a matter of seconds, why would you want to though ? Some less reputable ISP's change the Logo without your consent to one of their own and if like me you hate branding you will soon want to get rid of it. Mainly though you will just want to change it to a far more Interesting and Exciting 'Animation' !
A point to note though is that even though you are seeing an Animated Logo it is actually just a 'strip' ('Bit strip') of Images in a line displayed one after another, to increase or decrease the speed of the Logo you would need to add or remove duplicate images. Because of this my Logo's may run faster or slower than you would wish but sadly cannot be adjusted.
